Hi Viz Technologies specializes in the development of photoluminescent/phosphorescent technologies. We have developed and patented a photoluminescent formulation that absorbs both UV and artificial light and releases the energy slowly that is seen with the human eye as a “glow." Our formulation produces a glow which is brighter than, and lasts longer than any current formulations in the photoluminescent arena.

Photoluminescent materials absorb ultraviolet light and emit visible light. There are two types of photoluminescence: fluorescence and phosphorescence.

Our technology incorporates phosphorescent material, which absorbs ultraviolet or visible light through electromagnetic radiation. When the light source is extinguished, phosphorescent materials continue to emit photons of light which is called afterglow.
